With the support of an international group, the frozen yogurt brand Yolé Ice Cream has just officially inaugurated its Yolé Spain delegation, with the aim of expanding the brand throughout Europe. In a few days, in October, the first unit opens in Portugal, which will be followed in subsequent months by the entry into other European markets, including Spain. Expansion in America will begin in early 2021. In 2014, Spanish entrepreneurs founded D + 1 Holding in Singapore, a company destined to create and expand restaurant franchises of Spanish origin throughout the world. During the three subsequent years they acquired the rights to llao llao, opening more than 100 stores in 3 years spread over ten Asian countries. In record time, D + 1 Holding became the largest frozen yogurt multi-franchisee in the world with 7 and a half million customers a year. During these years, D + 1 Holding acquired a great knowledge of the world of franchises, and specifically, of the ice cream sector. This professional background motivated them to bring together an international team of chefs, artisan ice cream makers, nutritionists and biochemists to create the best ice cream and, at the same time, the healthiest. After months of research, Yolé was born in 2018, a low calorie frozen yogurt, 100% made in Spain with top quality products. During the first years since its birth, the brand manages to expand its network in four countries: Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan and Cambodia. During the Covid-19 crisis, the brand launched Yolé ice cream in a tub for sale in supermarkets, present in more than 600 establishments. For its expansion into the franchise, Yolé has three types of formats: kiosk, store and food truck. Its minimalist, sustainable and functional design allows the units to be adapted to any need for space, relocation, customization and the investor's budget. Both the franchisee profile and master franchisee receive training and continuous support from the Central Yolé España, located in Malaga, in charge of providing everything necessary to franchises, including different free services, from support in social media channels, campaigns, special events to the design of posters and merchandising or other needs of the franchisee. Yolé has the International Featured Standard (IFS) and Food is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certificates. It also has one of the most important international distribution models, the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
